Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT)

Have you tried counselling in the past and it has not worked, or it didn’t give you the outcome you were hoping for?

Animal Assisted Therapy uses the human-animal bond in goal directed therapy interventions as an essential part of the treatment process. AAT is using the animal as a therapeutic agent creating a connection, they are non-judgemental, compassionate, and loving. Though AAT has been shown to produce positive results, the animal’s welfare is priority to not just the animal but also ensuring you are getting the support you need. Canine Assisted Therapy is my speciality but I can also work with all domestic pets to suit you.

Individual Equine Therapy

I am an Eagala-certified equine therapist who uses the human-horse bond to help clients achieve their goals and overcome challenges. I work individually with adults, children, and ACC SCS clients in the Tuakau, Franklin area. Equine therapy can be used as standalone therapy or is perfect alongside general talk therapy.
