Animal Assisted Therapy
Animal Assisted Therapy is a complementary intervention, shown to provide positive benefits for those with chronic pain, fibromyalgia and anxiety. Benefits include reduction in stress, improvements in neurophysiological stress makers, increase in endorphins and enhancement of immune factors. Ford is a trained therapy dog he loves working with all my clients and takes pride in working with kids assisting them to work through their emotions and producing a calming effect on anyone he meets.

Creative Therapy
Creative Therapy is an intervention using positive triggers to combat stress and anxiety. Creativity can include art, lego, gardening, exercise, games, mixed media and more. Working together to find this creative outlet can help support you through difficult times. I run Create with Purpose junk journal sessions supporting your creativity and mental health. Creative interventions can be used with both adults and kids to provide a unique safe space and a distraction from those challenges giving us grief and stress.
Equine Therapy
Groupwork and Individual Therapy
Working with horses can help individuals learn how to recognise and manage their emotions, leading to better emotional control and awareness. Equine therapy is a somatic therapy that supports the mind-body connection.
Our group work is designed for ACC-sensitive claims and is trauma-informed, working with PTSD and trauma. This is based in Pukekohe Puni
Individual Equine therapy is based in Tuakau, Franklin and designed for both ACC sensitive claims clients and private clients wanting to work on their mental health, including anxiety and depressive symptoms.

Counselling Sessions are designed for the individual, whether you just want to talk or try creative therapy, animal therapy, mindfulness and many more techniques. Plans are created using the methods, tools, and techniques that research has shown to produce positive and successful results.
